Engineering Temporary Employee Job Opportunities
Rate: $12.00 per hour
The City of Sioux Falls is accepting applications for temporary employees for Engineering. This is a temporary, non-benefitted position involving 40 hours per week for a 4 month duration period, May 1, 2018 to August 31, 2018. Dates are subject to applicant’s schedule.
Temporary employees within the Engineering Division will be involved in a variety of engineering related activities performed in support of design, construction, or maintenance of City of Sioux Falls’ public infrastructure. Specific duties may include participating on survey crew, materials testing, project inspection, GIS data editing, traffic counting, data collection and verification, traffic sign installation, traffic signal maintenance or other engineering related activities. Duties are primarily performed outdoors and are physical in nature. Applicants enrolled in an engineering curriculum as a full-time student at a college, university or vocational-technical school for the fall 2018 semester preferred.
