|Why:||Last year the media stood inside some BIG sewer pipes. Now see firsthand the significant tunnel bored underneath I-229 where these pipes will soon reside. Four miles of huge sanitary sewer pipes will convey more than 90 percent of the wastewater for the city and other communities in the region and last for about a century. Come to the press meet to see the pipe under construction and to learn more about a two-year, major wastewater infrastructure project nearly complete.|
