Watercolors by Jim Heroux Featured at Downtown Library

Since his retirement from architecture, watercolor painting has given Jim Heroux the opportunity to excel in a completely different art form. Work by the Sioux Falls artist will be featured at the Downtown Library, 200 North Dakota Avenue, throughout July and August.

A member of the Central Minnesota Watercolorists, Heroux has won awards in the South Dakota Masterworks Competition and was selected to show his work in the South Dakota Governor’s sixth Biennial Art Exhibition. Light, color, contrast, and misty mornings are his current fascination.

The show is free and open to the public during regular library hours.
