Siouxland Libraries Book Walk to Feature Phil Baker

Siouxland Libraries will host its sixth annual Children’s Book Walk at the Downtown River Greenway Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from 9 to 11 a.m. Children’s musician Phil Baker will perform at 10 a.m.

Families are invited to follow the pages of two children’s books along the bike path between the amphitheater and Falls Park. Attendees can also do a make-and-take activity and enjoy free popcorn.

Featured children’s books will be Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! by Mo Willems and The Little Engine that Could by Watty Piper. The Book Walk is a fun and novel way for children and their families to visit Falls Park, experience the amphitheater, sing along with Phil Baker, exercise, and get in a little reading.

Groups of ten or more must register in advance to attend by calling the Downtown Library at 367-8700.
