Teen Art Contest
Ronning Branch Library (June 12 art show)

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to imagine, design and create an original work of art―and compete for one of three top entries in the following age categories: Grades 6 to 8, grades 9 and 10, grades 11 and 12. Entries should be submitted online at www.siouxlandlib.org/Teens. The deadline is Friday, June 1, 2018. Winners will be announced Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at a 6 to 7 p.m. art show and award ceremony at Siouxland Libraries Ronning Branch, 3100 East 49th Street.

Children’s Book Week

Children's Book Week is an annual celebration of children’s (and teen's!) books and reading. Activities and storytime throughout the week, concluding on Sunday with a 2 p.m. storytime, followed by crafts, activities and a big surprise!
Grades K-3: Monday, April 30, 3:45–4:30 p.m.,
Ages 3-5: Tuesday, May 1, 10:05–10:35 a.m. & 10:45–11:15 a.m.
Grades 4-6: Wednesday, May 2, 4–5 p.m.
Grades 7-12: Thursday, May 3, 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Families: Sunday, May 6, 2–3:30 p.m.
