Develop of love a reading, enrich your child’s listening, social, and pre-reading skills, and connect with other families through the libraries’ story programs. The Fall session has begun!

Draw Some Awesome...

Learn to Draw Some Awesome art with artist Julia Matuska. She will teach techniques, tips and tricks to perfect your drawing skills. Drawing supplies will be provided. Recommended for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Dare to Be

Who would you dare to be?

Join us at the Prairie West Library for stories and activities from The Dangerous Book for Boys and The Daring Book for Girls. Collect weekly stamps in your field guide on a journey of discovery! For kids, grades 1-4.

Wednesday, October 8, 3:15 p.m. -- Dare to be a Fireman! Create your own fire escape plan and tour a Sioux Falls Fire Rescue fire truck.

Take a trip to Hogwarts and attend a potions class led by Hermione Granger. Observe and learn how to create science experiments at home with parental supervision.
