Enter our photography contest for teens this summer. The contest theme is “water”, so send us your best two photos that incorporate water – or the idea of water – in some way.

Entries will be posted on Siouxland Libraries' Facebook page. The winning photographer will receive a $25 gift certificate from Barnes and Noble.

Rules:

• Photos must incorporate water or the idea of water.
• Photos must be original and taken in 2010.
• Photos can be printed on photo paper or regular paper or submitted as an email attachment.
• Photos must be no smaller than 3"x5" and no larger than 8"x10".
• Photos can be digital or non-digital taken with any type of camera.
• Entry limit of two photos per person.

Download the entry form on the right, and bring it with your photos to the Youth Services desk at the Main Library of Siouxland Libraries, or email your photos as an attachment to youthservices@siouxfalls.org. Be sure to include the following information in your email—your name, grade, and phone number. In the subject line, write: Teen Photography Contest.

Photos must be received by the library by July 19, 2010.

Photos will be judged on the basis of composition, creativity, technical quality, and overall impression. Winners will be announced on August 4, 2010.
