Help Shape the Future of Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation!

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation announces public forums on the department’s Comprehensive Parks and Recreation System Plan. The public is invited to participate in a process designed to build a flourishing future for the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation system.

Forums will feature a presentation on the overall plan and its purpose, as well as interactive questions. Following the presentation, there will be multiple stations and activities to share thoughts about parks and recreation opportunities in Sioux Falls.

What parks and recreation facilities do you want to see in Sioux Falls? Do our program offerings meet the needs of you and/or your family? Now is your opportunity to let us know. Come and share your ideas for parks and recreation in Sioux Falls.

The department will also launch a website to serve as the crowdsourcing platform and the one-stop shop for all information related to the Comprehensive Parks and Recreation System Plan, including meeting details, technical reports, and relevant contact information. Links will soon be available at www.siouxfalls.org/parks and www.plansfparks.org. The Comprehensive Parks and Recreation System Plan is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
