Practical Help for Job Seekers at Siouxland Libraries Downtown Library
Siouxland Libraries will offer two classes for job seekers during May. The first, How to Write a Résumé and Prepare for Job Interviews, is set for Thursday, May 16, 2019, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Experts from Goodwill Industries Job Center will show how to write an eye-catching résumé and help those who attend prepare for job interviews.
Online Job Applications will feature professionals from the South Dakota Department of Labor who will advise job seekers about finding and applying for employment. The class will be at the Downtown Library from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
There is no charge for the classes. Registration is required for each at www.siouxlandlib.org or call 367-8700. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation as a courtesy to those on the wait list.
