Lane Closure – Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Saturday morning, September 14, 2019, both southbound lanes of South Kiwanis Avenue will be closed for approximately 200 feet at West Costello Road. Southbound traffic will be diverted into the center turn lane along the work zone.

Xcel Energy will be performing utility work.

This work is anticipated to be complete by the end of the day on September 14, 2019.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Lane Closures - Minnesota Avenue

Beginning on Monday, September 16, 2019, traffic on South Minnesota Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Tenth Street and 19th Street to allow crews to perform pavement repairs and asphalt mill and overlay. 

The lane closures will vary during construction as the work progresses, however, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Weather permitting, this project is anticipated to be complete by the end of October.

Parking Lot Closure - Falls Park

Beginning on Monday, September 16, 2019, the parking lot on the east side of Falls Park will be closed to allow construction crews to perform parking lot repairs. The parking lot on the west side of Falls Park will remain open for park users while construction is underway.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete by late October.

Street Closure - Frederick Avenue

Beginning on Tuesday, Sept 17, 2019, Frederick Avenue will be closed at 26th Street to allow contractors to install underground utilities and reconstructing the intersection.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be complete by the week October 7, 2019.
