Safe Way 4 Safe PlaySummer 2020 Services

Morningside, Oyate, and MariCar opened on June 3 for summer activities with limited occupancy. Meeting rooms and computer labs will not be available. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, community centers are operating at a reduced capacity.

All patrons must sign a covid-19 waiver, and minor's waivers must be signed by an adult.

Open Gym and Game Rooms

Open Gym and Game Rooms at MariCar, Morningside and Oyate  are open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday with limited capacity. Kenny Anderson and Kuehn Community Centers are closed.

SENIOR OPEN GYM

AGES: 55+

Beat the heat by joining us for some morning fun indoors! Utilize an enlarged gym for walking laps, shooting hoops, or playing other fun games such as bean bags or shuffleboard. Play cards in the meeting room, while socializing over a cup of coffee. Capacity limits will be in place for each room. No registration is required.

FAMILY OPEN GYM

AGES: ALL AGES

Beat the heat by joining us for some morning fun indoors! Explore, connect, and play with social distant activities such as riding toys, games, coloring pages, music, and more! Burn off energy in our enlarged gyms by walking laps, shooting hoops, and enjoying other fun activities sized for all ages! Strollers/wagons may be brought into the facility for this program. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. Capacity limits will be in place for each room. No registration is required.

The Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Community Centers are joint ventures between Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation and the Sioux Falls School District. Facilities include a game room, a computer lab, an enlarged gym, and meeting room(s).

Community Centers offer a safe and fun place to enjoy a variety of activities and programs for people of all ages and abilities. Adult must be 16 years or older.
