We are excited to bring you the 2020 Summer Reading Program.

Kids Kindergarten to 5th Grade

Create a summer reading necklace! Read for 4 hours to earn a chain, brag tag, and beads. Read for 10 hours to receive a raffle ticket for grand prizes and more beads, including a special finisher's bead. Earn bonus beads and an extra raffle ticket by completing 5 missions. Keep reading through August 4 to win more grand prize raffle tickets.

Bonus bead packet alert! Get extra beads for your summer reading necklace by going to any library and requesting the Star Mission bead packet. Available while supplies last.

For every book you read this summer, you get a raffle ticket entry for the grand prize drawing. No limit to the books you can read and log, so get started today!

Community Time Capsule

Siouxland Libraries and Parks & Recreation have a long tradition of offering annual summer programming. This year, we’ve teamed up to offer a combined program that will inspire each of us to imagine a different summer. You’ll see many of the same programs you’re used to, such as hydrant parties, yoga in the park, fitness classes, and summer reading logs. New this year is virtual on-demand daily programs and the chance to add personal memories to a community time capsule.
